Message As much as I hate to get into this, I don't want to see someone else go through what I am now. I've been a member here for a while, and I have had many great transactions with vendors, classifieds, etc.

I contacted this guy to get my spare plenum/TBs polished from his classified ad. The short version:

11/30: He told me the turnaround time was 5-7 days.
12/5: Told me he would let me know when my package arrived and work would begin.
12/16: After no word from him, I asked if my package got to him. He said yes.
12/29: Explained the delay was due to the holidays, and my package would ship on Friday (12/31).
1/05: Sent pictures and asked for payment, which I paid through PayPal immediately.
1/18: Still no tracking number. I finally told him I thought his business and 'service' were out of hand. He sent a long e-mail saying how trustworthy and honest he was, blah blah.
1/27: Still no tracking number. I file a claim on PayPal to get my money back. He claimed he would return my items.

He refunded my money but I still don't have a tracking number and he has my plenum and throttle bodies. I told him I would accept unpolished cores. Still no contact.

So, beware of this guy. It's unfortunate it has come to this but I am going to treat this as a theft pretty soon.
